Patrick McCollum - Membership Secretary
Patrick McCollum is an HR professional with over 25 years of solid, transformative HR experience. His ultimate passion is in creating and driving environments where people and teams are empowered to do their best work each day.
Patrick’s family can be traced to the Argyll area of Scotland, where their clan chief, Robin Malcolm, and his wife Pat, still reside in the clan castle of Duntrune, mere steps from Dunadd Fort, which was the capital city of the ancient kingdom of Dal Riata and the power center of Gaelic kings for hundreds of years, before Scotland became a country. Duntrune castle has the notable distinction of being the oldest continuously occupied castle in mainland Scotland, and has been occupied by Clan MacCallum since the 1700’s.
When not at work, Patrick meets the definition of a true polymath. His interests are diverse and broad. An Army veteran, former college athlete, forensic entomologist, heavy metal singer, and amateur fencer; Patrick's interests now involve writing, traveling, spending time with family and friends, or working on one of several other hobbies. He is also a certified Master of Scotch Whiskey, and an Executive Bourbon Steward with the Kentucky Master Distillers Association. Patrick and his family reside in Loveland with their cat (Finnegan) and Siberian Husky (Maisie).
