We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to preserve and promote the Scottish Arts. We perform throughout the year at a wide range of community and private events, teach free lessons in Scottish bagpiping and drumming, and sponsor educational opportunities in the Scottish Arts.

The Greater Cincinnati Police & Fire Emerald Society is an all volunteer organization dedicated to honoring the fallen (Onoir Do No Mabh) and celebrating the lives of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Our members consist of Police Officers, Firefighters, fomre military and civilians.

CHD is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving Scottish Highland Dancing. We offer instruction in Scottish Highland Dancing from age 4-adult, beginner through advanced dancers. In addition to competing in local, regional, national and world competitions, the dancers of CHD enjoy performing throughout the year for the community. We'd love to have you come join us!

Scottish country dance is the distinctively Scottish form of country dance, itself a form of social dance involving groups of couples of dancers tracing progressive patterns. A dance consists of a sequence of figures. These dances are set to musical forms (Jigs, Reels and Strathspey Reels) which come from the Gaelic tradition of Highland Scotland, as do the steps used in performing the dances. Traditionally a figure corresponds to an eight-bar phrase of music.
